Hi! My name is Aliza (“ah-lee-zah”). I’m originally from Southern California but now am roaming the Houstonian art scene in Texas.
I’ve been an artist for over 15 years! Throughout my career, I’ve helped to curate shows throughout Downtown Los Angeles, curated, hosted my own, worked in the nonprofit sector building community in the arts, and been teacher to over 300 students ranging from Pre-K to adults.
My life revolves around art and I strive to use it to connect and inspire.

My Work
I am more concerned with color and the essence of who or what I’m trying to capture in my work. I enjoy making the piece vibrate off the canvas, inviting you to walk in and experience it in a new way. To look at something you may have seen a thousand times, but now feel it and have it scratch a sense of wonder and familiarity.
